How We Helped?

We began with tidying up their Steam page, making sure to highlight the strengths of the game with its cute Celestial Space Sprite characters and vibrant aesthetics. We updated the screenshots, created a brand new evergreen trailer and got down to the nitty gritty by choosing the correct tags.

Next, we got to work on the social media channels, ensuring that the descriptions, bio links and imagery was the best it could be. We followed this up with a consistent flow of engaging content, resulting in a slew of new followers and engagement on Instagram, TikTok & Twitter (X).

Once the groundwork was established, we executed a strategic PR campaign to re-announce the game, followed up with targeted preview key distribution and ultimately handed out approximately 150 keys. This resulted in a plethora of earned media content, including streams from big names such as Back Pocket and Stumpt; this not only allowed us to reach a wider audience through their audience, but it also gave us content to edit and repurpose for social media.

Our efforts led to the following accomplishments:

"Working with Alex and the IndiEXP team was a game-changer for the demo release of our party game, Which Way Up. Their enthusiasm, adaptability, and attention to detail were evident in every aspect of their work, from crafting compelling messaging to strategising and securing valuable media coverage. They were very open to collaboration and workshopping ideas, always involving us in decision-making processes, which we greatly valued and appreciated. Our project benefited immensely from the assistance of The IndiEXP, and we learned a lot through their transparency. We highly recommend The IndiEXP to any indie developer looking to take their first steps in the world of video game marketing."
